About Us

Jerry Richter has a lifetime of involvement in boating as a boat owner and captain, student, and crew. He has crewed and captained vessels on inland, coastal and offshore deliveries and races. Jerry has been the primary celestial navigator for two trans-Pacific voyages and has spent 8 years in the US Navy as a ship handler and underway watch stander.

Jerry graduated from Fordham University with a BS in Business Administration, and completed graduate degree work at UCLA.  After a career spent in non-profit management he has decided to pursue his life-long love of boating and the maritime environment by pursuing a full-time career in the marine industry as a Marine Surveyor.
